How to stretch the desktop across 2 displays?

How do i stretch the desktop across both displays? Im useing the CT_Viewpoint mod for WOW and want to be able to use the 2nd screen

the nvidia faq says

From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Display, click Set up multiple displays to open the page.

In step 1, select either the Horizontal Span or the Vertical Span option.

But i don't see any where to select the option to either choose the Horizontal Span or the Vertical Span option.

Any ideas?

Both monitors should be set at the same resolution. I'm not sure how nvidia's control panel is setup but in ati's CCC it's a simple matter of picking clone or extend desktop. Perhaps look for words similar to stretch, extend, expand etc.?

I have the option to extend the displays, but then its seen as two displays. Im needing to make it so its seen as one large display.

after lots of googleing, it looks as Horizontal Span is not supported in windows 7 and only works in xp.

Can't you do a 2-monitor surround group, since you have SLI?

I'll have to give it a try when i get my 2nd card back, had to rma so im only running on a single card right now.
