In the Nvidia Control Panel, in the "Change Resolution" section, in the bottom right there is a "Output dynamic range" setting. Full is the 0-255 color space which you will definitely want on a PC, while Limited is the 16-235 color space meant for HDMI TVs which will make colors look all washed out.
Note: somewhere between 347.52 and 352.86, Nvidia moved this from the "Adjust desktop color settings" section to the "Change Resolution" section and removed (0-255) and (16-235) from the choice titles. I post this because I am seeing an increasing number of posts from people unable to find the setting due to following outdated instructions.
