How to rip bluray extras?

How would one go about ripping a bluray extras or "bonus" disc?

This seems to be a more difficult task than ripping the actual movie disk, as the extras/bonus disc is compartmentalized into many mini clips and containers.

Any guides or resources on how to go about this?

Have you tried MakeMKV? You can just rip everything and dump what you don't need.

I've read about MakeMKV, but I read some posts that made it seem like it wouldn't be able to handle extras/bonus discs correctly, given the "fragmented" nature of the individual clip containers.

Either rip the extras each as separate .mkv/whatever files - or rip the entire Blu-ray as an .iso preserving everything.

i've done it manually with handbrake by creating previews of the different tracks until I find the extras I want. definitely a PITA for discs with a ton of bonus features. If there was a way to figure out which tracks corresponded to which items that would be a big bonus.
