How to reverse pins for fan connector?

I've got a Notua 5V 3 pin fan. I bought a CoolerGuys 3 pin to 2 pin adapter with CB-32C Connector. The only problem is I have to plug the CB-32C in backwards on the mobo to get the fan to turn on.

Guess this isn't a common problem, I tried googling before I posted here.

What is the best way to fix this? Is this what the OmniJoin adapter set is for?

^ use a needle or small blade to press on the those tabs one at a time and the connectors should come out so you can swap the polarity

before putting back on the connector, bend the pins back up that you pushed down to get the connector off. it should lock in place when you put on the connector.

yup ^^ that. you have to push the tabs down to slide the pins out. then you use the needle to pick under the tab and pull it back up a couple mm, so it locks when reinserted.

apologies guys, I am pushing down hard but can't get it budge. Am I pushing down on the silver tabs near the top or the bottom where it connects to the board?

I am using a paperclip.
