I'm not sure if this is an OS or hardware issue, but I just installed Vista on a new build and noticed something odd - the only way I can wake up from sleep mode is to click a mouse button. Pressing a key on the keyboard does nothing, and moving the mouse (without clicking it) also does nothing.
In windows XP, moving the mouse, clicking a mouse button, and/or pushing a key on the keyboard would all bring the computer out of sleep mode. How can I make that the default behavior in windows Vista?
The keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard, and the mouse is a USB mouse, if it matters. Also I have the sleep mode set to S1 in the BIOS, if that matters.
