How to remove Startup folder?

I was clearing out my Startup folder last night and I accidentally dragged my Startup folder onto the desktop. I for the life of me cannot remove it from the desktop.
I tried to delete from the desktop, but it keeps telling me that it's required for Windows to run properly. I used Unlocker to remove/delete it, but on every reboot, it still pops up.
What other options do I have in regards to removing it, if any? Please let me know, as it's driving me insane just looking at it.

Click on star button, right click on programs, click open, then drag and drop startup folder on your desktop into it, and you should be good..
