If this is just your typical consumer/retail UPS, the replacement lead-acid batteries are only ~$40-60 total.

So, you gonna spend another $150 for a new one, vs $40 or so for batteries?
Batteries usually last 3-5 years and then you replace the batteries, not the UPS.

What about making one? China has all sorts of lithium batteries, mate! Perhaps you cn even find exact capacity needed, requiring a different plug? Or worst case, solder a few cells together..I know it's [H]ard mate, but you cn do it! We cn help!
