How to move Exchange 2003 to another server?

I found an article from one server to another but I am moving my Exchange 2003 server to another server with a different name. After backing up my info store I moved the actual store into place and started services. Doing this gives me an error when I go to OWA, "HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable" so how do I move the data over.

I guess I could just backup mail to a PST, and restore which wouldn't be too hard.
 
You can't just back up the Exchange DB and restore it to a new server witha new name. It doesn't work like that. :)

You'll need to have both systems up and move the mailboxes over.
 
I agree with running two servers, and just moving the mailboxes...

If you are looking to do the pst thing... You may want to investigate the use of the Exmerge utility, I think it is in the support directory of your exchange install disk. It makes easy work of managing, exporting, and importing pst files.
