I get about 700emails a day, and the select few that I get from family and friends tend to be lost in the ocean and deleted.

is there any way I can flag certain email addresses, and have outlook express drop them in a different folder than the rest of the incoming mail?

well this is how to do it in Outlook 2k3

Tools > Rules and Alerts> New Rule > And it starts out Start creating a rule from a template and the one it has selected is the exact one you want. Then in Step 2 click "People or Distrubtion list" and you can choose who you want to filter your mail for. Then click "Specified" and you can tell it where to go.
