Hi Guys ive never done a install of Windows 7 off of a USB stick before, I researched Google but wanted to ask the Experts. I have a Legit Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate on Disc and wish to install it onto a machine that only has USB ports as my option and I have a 32gig USB stick handy. Do I just make a ISO and put it on the stick then make the USB port the first bootable option in the bios? Thanks!

I suggest checking out RUFUS. It can transfer a .ISO of Windows 7 to a USB thumbdrive hella faster thatn the Microsoft tool. Stopped using the MS tool as it was too slow. If you have a USB 3.0 stick it flies.

WOW, guys thanks for all the Help!!! I just built a Visual Pinball Cabinet for a friend and its a lot easier to intall the OS this way.

Rufus 1.4.12 is the easiest one that is available and actually works now. Fast, easy and simple, this is how it should be. Nothing like being done in 10 minutes or less installing from a usb.
