I've got some .mov files, mostly from my digi cam, and they won't show up as thumbnails in windows explorer. I've tried the official quicktime player, quicktime alternative, the shark007 codecs etc. but nothing seems to work. I also found a number of reg hacks while searching for a solution, but they didn't help.

Is there any way at all to get .mov thumbnails in Win7 x64?

I've had no problem by installing the official quicktime and then the shark007 on top of it. If that doesn't work open one of the files with Windows Media Player (it will work but not play very well) and see if that fixes it.
