Yup, I don't think they've officially announced a price yet, but it should be coming pretty soon. There's been hints of it being anywhere from 200 to 250 dollars. If I had to guess I'd probably go with 250.

I would love:

$200: console, wiimote, and ac adapter only

$250: console, wiimote, gamepad, ac adapter, and a game... like those tennis, volleyball type games and/or duckhunt 2006.

Officially: the Wii will be no more than $250.

Of course, that just sets up the very likely scenario of the Wii being $250, but probably with no game.

Remember way back when...consoles would come with a game and two controllers? Yeah, that was sweet. Or the NES with the two controllers, the zapper, mario/duck hunt.

it may have a basic demo type disc to get people familiar with the controls.
but i agree, 250 is most likely, and perhaps 300 with a second controller and a basic game.
