How much power will these specs need

Look at some of the reviews for the psu before you buy it. I had one, it was stable and it ran my rig quite well. BUT, there are is a flaw that someone else can explain better than I can or run a search.

I replaced that psu with a pcp 750 quad. People seem to be really high on the corsair 620hx around here (I have one on order from newegg for a quad 6600 abit ip35pro build and will recieve this coming week).

Like I said i have the second one and the other one will arrive with my quadcore this coming week (I used ups ground to save $).

thanks for the reply, i'll check them out. I've been happy with my 500w enermax, but I don't think it will do the job

that OCZ would be sufficient. other good brands corsair hx620, 750w silencer quad, 850w toughpower+.

Don't suggest the OCZ GXS 700; It's got out of spec ripple at high loads.

The HX 620 is a better psu; It has more Usable power, quiet, modular, and isn't bad for price. It's also a great performer, much better than the OCZ.

will the hx620 be able to power as much as the gxs700 with one less 12v rail? Also where is your source for those ripples bbq? Reviews for the gxs700 seem quite stable at high loads.
