Hi,
Has anyone compared a CNPS7000B-Cu with the intel stock HSF? This is going to be for a non-overclocked E6600 in the not so big Antec Fusion case, so the big 120mm heatsinks are out of the question.
I know the CNPS7000B-Cu with the fanmate will most likely run quieter than the intel HSF, but what about cooling? Can it perform as good or better than the stock cooler at full load when running the fan at around 7v or possibly lower?
I'm selecting parts to put an htpc together for a friend and basically want to know, cooling and noise wise, if it's worth spending the extra cash on a 7000B and ditch the stock HSF.
