How Much Have You Spent on Steam?

6 accounts, what the hell? Is this for different family members?

EDIT: Not sure what the difference between old and new is, the new is $3,408
You have to add all 3 numbers together to get the total. About $140 for me. That makes it about 1 cent per hour played. Not to bad.

$2588.37. Not terrible since I've had the account for 14 years. ~$15/mo

Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize you had to add the numbers. $4471.34. ~$26/mo

$97 since 2004, about $6 per year.

about 1100 hours, the bad part is that 840 of those is in Fallout 4.

Ah, I did not understand that. The total of the two for me is $7543.63. That sounds more like it over 10 years.

First game I show purchased.

Purchased: Aug 11, 2007 @ 10:34am
Super ID Software Pack - $69.95

$896.10.

Humble Bundle and other Steam activated games are probably a similar amount.

Just ahead of Montu - $2,476.94.

More interesting would be, "How much money have you spent on Steam for games you haven't installed but just squirreled away?"

If we are playing first game purchased then mine is

Counter-Strike on Nov, 30 2004 there was a whole package purchased on that day. The following purchase was Deus Ex: GOTY, June 23, 2016.

From SteamDB:
  • Worth: $15972 ($4355 with sales)
  • Games owned: 1246
  • Games played: 274 (21%)
  • Hours on record: 1,289.7h

TotalSpend is all money put into your account
OldSpend is money put into your account before 17 Apr 2015.
PWSpend is something related to Perfect World accounts which is something to do with CS:GO I think.

Please note that there are some Humble Bundle-type purchases and gifted games which skew the purchase value and cause me to have games which I really have no intention of playing (e.g. Fighting games such as Mortal Kombat, racing and sports games, some very low approval games including Spacebase DF-9 and Agricultural Simulator: Historical Farming), but exist in the library because the key provided was a bundle key instead of a single game key. In addition, I have used some Steam gift cards that were sold at a discount (e.g. $100 card for $90)

And... I can hear my elders saying "Look what you could have done with that money instead of wasting it on games...." Of course, these are the same elders who spend how much per month on cable teevee.....

Old Spend: $635.46
PW Spend: $0

Considering I've been on Steam since the HL2 release, these numbers look about right....

Yeah, when I hit that link, it says I've spent $4.99. I've bought only one game on there, and got 2 other free games.

Only $462 but I've redeemed many more codes included with hardware purchases also on Uplay and GoG. Lots of disc purchases pre-steam too. Probably worth over $1500 all included

$592.12 for me which definitely isn't bad and less than I expected. I couldn't tell you playtime since at times I end up spending quite a bit of time in offline mode and it doesn't count playtime in offline mode.

$2,981.09 ... don’t tell my wife.

Edit: wait am I supposed to add the numbers up?

TotalSpend $2,981.09
OldSpend $2,300.55

5,281.64

This makes me sad

However I'm not sure I trust that number. And the detailed link DEFINITELY isn't the full list of your stuff. If you want to see your first interactions with steam, you need to go to licenses and product key activations.

The detailed list for me goes back to 2008.
The licenses list goes back to 2003, which I'm pretty sure isn't right. IIRC I started using it with HL2 Episode One and counterstrike once counterstrike around that time. Everything prior to 2008 for me is listed as complimentary despite it including things I definitely paid for, but possibly not through steam directly.

$440 ... in the past 10 years I doubt I spent over $800 and that includes Green Man Gaming, EA, etc. That works out to $80 per year / $6.67 per month. Pretty cheap for entertainment these days

Just purchased Overload so now it's $470

What my collection is worth... That's a different story.. lol

TotalSpend 2018-05-24 19:53:24.940 $36.98
OldSpend 2018-05-24 19:53:24.940 $0.00

I get most of my games from Humble Bundle bundles or GoG.

TotalSpend 2018-06-01 07:07:57.250 $1,956.77
OldSpend 2018-06-01 07:07:57.250 $1,672.10
PWSpend 2018-06-01 07:07:57.250 $0.00

Planetside 2 probably got a good $150-$200 out of me. Sad that game the vehicle game in it has totally gone to sh1t3. Top vehicle driver / gunner for harassers and tanks. There is still nothing out there that even touches that game in terms of the experience it provides.

Rest of the extra purchase money was a Steam Controller and Steam Link.

Oct 23, 2007 The Orange Box Steam Store - $49.99 an excellent purchase for just TF2 alone
Jul 18, 2005 ATI Bundle Complimentary - Half Life 2 that came free with a *scratches head* ATI 9600 XT purchase.

For those of you that are wondering Steam was released on:

September 12, 2003

TotalSpend 2018-05-24 19:53:24.940 $36.98
OldSpend 2018-05-24 19:53:24.940 $0.00

I get most of my games from Humble Bundle bundles or GoG.

GoG is a whole other animal, 200+ titles there for me. Love the classics, no DRM, manuals, sound tracks and working on modern machines.

$880. My account also goes back to the creation of Steam for HL2 activation. I guess I don't buy enough games! I also don't have a huge backlog either...

~ 478 games in my account
TotalSpend: $630.53
OldSpend: $508.48
PWSpend: $0

Total: $1,139.01

TotalSpend 2018-05-26 22:04:06.533 $4,151.42
OldSpend 2018-05-26 22:04:06.533 $3,319.61
PWSpend 2018-05-26 22:04:06.533 $0.00

So $7471.03. Weird that it only goes back to October 2007 for my purchases though. First one there is the Orange Box but I know Half-Life 2 had to have been one of the first ones and I know I got the ID super pack but I can't find it listed.
