How many of you have went from a Dell 2005FPW to the Dell 2405FPW

This is what Im doing. I just want to know a couple things I loved the little widescreen 20 inch, but it kind of felt like a wide 17 inch screen to me. So it made me want to pan the screen to much.

Also Will a geforce 6800ultra do ok with this bigger Dell screen for a while? Thanks guys.

Went from 2005 to 2405 ( Got two under a deal ) and was like " OMG "

The 2005 feels like a stretched 17" ... the 2405 is a more serious display. The 6800U will do for a while but dont bother playing HL2 or Quake4 at 1920x1200. I have a 7800GTX oc'ed to 490/1300 and it's still SLOW. You need 2x7800GTX or 2x1800XT's

I have a dell 2005 fpw and was thinking returning it to get the 2405 fpw. However, I only have a 6800 ultra and decided that the 2005 fpw would be best for me. Also the price tag for the 2405 fpw was kind a high even with the 35% off coupons. With that pice i can get 2 2005 fpw. I know dual screen is not that good for gaming since many games dont' support it but heck it does seems cool though.

LOL I only got one but it came today and I love it. . I did get a $100 consession coupon on it though because UPS was late in the delivery plus free overnight shipping since it took 2 days they credited my shipping also. I can live with tha

Now this is more like it. Its almost like having 2 19inch monitors together to me it has a better height and depth ratio about it.


But the Dell 2005fpw is still a great monitor.
