My rig atm has 7 fans and it'll be 8 when I get my graphics card... possibly 9 if i buy another exhaust fan...

1 cpu fan (stock)
1 abit chipset fan (stock)
3 80mm ball bearing fans in my power supply
1 exhaust 80mm fan (back)
1 exhaust 80mm fan (side window)

1x Thermaltake Venus 12
2x Antec 80mm Intake
2x Antec 80mm Exhaust
1x Coolermaster 80mm Side Intake
1x Thermaltake Chipset Orb
1x eVGA 6800GT
1x Thermaltake Active Memory Cooler
2x Thermaltake 560w PS (80mm and 92mm)
And a much needed (and used) Enermax fan controller :D :D ;)

BTW, it might be better if you made your side window fan an intake. It'll blow directly on the AGP slot and create better airflow, esp., since you have 3 fans in your PS, which are all exhaust.

1-90mm intake
1-120mm sunon jet-engine, high output exhaust.
1-CPU fan
1-VGA fan
3-PSU fans

3 x 80mm Intake Fans
1 x 120mm Exhaust Fan
2 x 80 mm Exhaust Fans
1 x 80mm PS Fan
1 x CPU Fan
1 x Vid Card Fan
-----------
9 Total

9
5 80's 2 in 2 out 1 side
cpu
gpu
2 PS

Next machine (October)
8
2 80's exhaust and gpu water
6 120s In, top, 2 side, PS and CPU

I'm in the lead with 11, w00t!! Yay for my ears!!!! :D Course my system temp is 31c, and it's summer in NYC with no AC in the basement of doom. Heheh

2 sucky 80mm intake fans that came with my lian-li until I get around to replacing them.
2 80mm on my psu
4 thermaltake smart case fans 2 on full blast

2 80mm in the front, 2 80mm out the back, cpu, gpu, 2 in psu. that's it. 9 total.

1 120mm PSU fan
1 80mm CPU fan
1 92mm case fan (in)
4 80mm case fans (2 in, 2 out)

3 80mm exhaust
3 80mm intake
1 smartfan2 on cpu
1 80mm psu
1 120mm intake psu
1 80mm blowing at videocard and 1 videocard fan

11 fans here :)

antec 1080 amg case
2 psu fans
1 92mm tornado -cpu
1 80mm delta -exhaust
1 thermaltake smart fan 2 -exhaust
1 thermaltake smart fan 2 -intake/drive cage, cooling 2 wd740GD raptors
1 80mm antec case fan -intake /drive cage

lessee...
2x intake
1x exhaust
2 in PSU
tornado @ 7v on hsf (i know my sig says tornado on full, but i still CAN sleep in the room with one, i just didn't feel like having to play music loudly to hear it at all;))
40mm fan on chipset
80mm fan (i'm crazy, i know... well not really i guess) on the video card.

the cpu fan will be replaced by 4x 120mm panaflo m1a's (the exhaust may become one as well... right now it is an 80mm cheapo-cheapo fan) when i get the fans and build the encolsure for my watercooling. the video card fan will disappear as soon as i get around to making a video card block... should be sometime next year i'd guess:( and i'm hoping to get a new video card in the meantime anyways. w/e.

so thats 8 here.

- 2 80mm intakes
- 2 80mm exhausts
- 1 cpu fan
- 1 chipset fan
- 1 OTES fan
- 1 intel cpu fan mounted as exhaust under agp area
- 2 psu exhausts

Soon adding a 120mm exahust and moving an 80mm exahust down to the front for another intake. And one more fan when I get my new agp card.

That makes 10 fans, but will soon be 12.

2x 120mm at 6Volts intake.
2x Volcano11's HSF at full speed.
1x PSU.
1x Chipset.
So thats 6 fans x 4 folding boxen = 24 fans there.
Then.....
2x Stock HSF.
4x 80mmm case fans.
2x PSU.
1x Chipset.
1x Vid card
So thats 10 fans x 2 boxen = Another 20 fans.
And then.
2x 80mm case fans
1x HSF.
2x PSU.
1x chip set.
1x Vid card.
So another 7 fans.

For a grand total of 51 fans.

The WINNER.

Luck........ :D

2) Power supply fans
1) Video card fan
1) Chipset fan

2 80mm intake fans
2 80mm exhaust fans
2 PSU fans
1 CPU fan (stock... will turn into a 92mm once I get my missing 948U parts)

2 PSU fans
1 TT Volcano 7+ fan
1 Vidcard fan
1 slot cooler fan for the vid card memory (above the vidcard).

2 cooler master cheapo fans pulling in air.
1 compusa fan (pretty nice actualy) exhaust on the back
1 memorex fan (very nice actually) on the top exhaust
1 92mm CPU fan
1 92mm zalman fan on the 9800pro-ultimate

Let me count thy spinners:
1 - HSF
1 - PSU
1 - FX 5200 ;)
5 - Case - 3 intake (top, front, side), 2 exhaust (back, together) - all 80mm led

So that's 8, with no fan controller!

1 x CPU (Panaflo H1A full speed)
2 x Exhaust (Panaflo L1A's full speed).
2 x Intake (one Panaflo L1A @ full speed, second L1A 7V mod).
2 x PSU (Enermax Noisetaker, 80mm + 92mm).

Pretty average numbers for me, but definitely a ton quieter than when I had my shtty Top Motors for $2.50 a piece (those things were loud).

1 150mm EBM industrial fan (costs over $60! :D)
3 80mm Stealth
2 Quiet 80mm PS fans
1 92mm fan on Zalman 7000AlCu
1 blower fan on VGA silencer.
1 very quiet system

6 TT smart fans intake running at full 5k rpm greatness
3 tt smart fans out running at full 5k rpm greatness
2 in psu

1 UFO on CPU
in a xaser II case in a room thats 19c system temp of 20 under load

unlike the previous post

1 very loud system

1) CPU
2) Intake
2) Exhaust
2) Power supply
1) Video card
1) Blowhole
1) Northbridge

don't have a agp slot and thats why i don't have a new video card in yet :(

One.

It cools my Vapochill compressor. :p

so other then Deke, i can't belive you guys, your systems must be so bloddy loud
i have ONE fan, in my power supply (which i think you are forgetting about Deke... ),
and it's so bloddy quiet i dont notice it... my seagate-baracudas are louder!
other then that everything is water cooled and the water is passively cooled with a huge reservoir that keeps to room temperature on its own...

SO, 1 fan! authentically...
i covet a SilenX fanless powersupply!

3x120mm (on baybus)

the effect/look of the blue fans has sorta worn off over time; next time i'm going to go with something a little less flashy... ;)
