As far as I know, lots of new hardware will possibly come up in 2018:

AMD Navi GPUs
Nvidia Volta GPUs
New Intel CPUs (maybe Coffee Lake X, maybe Cannon Lake)
AMD Ryzen Refresh (Pinnacle Ridge)
Quantum Dot and HDR Monitors

Please add more.

I could not be excited more.

^^^this, DDR4 is bloody ridiculous atm, since I started gathering parts for my new build on black Friday prices in the Uk for a decent Threadripper compatible kit have gone up by £50. One of our etailers has one "sale" for the price it was 9 months ago - as long as you want white heat spreaders to go with the RGB led's
