How do you retreive a GPU's serial number electronically?

    If the sticker is hard to read, is there a way the serial number electronically. I did a cursory websearch and didn't come up with anything. I didn't see anything of the sort in GPU-Z.

    This is all assuming the manufacturer put the serial number someplace electronically in the first place.

    you might find something that looks like a serial number but is actually for the chip or something in the cards bios, instead of the manufacturers serial number.

    I always move the serial sticker to the input port plate or under the card by the pcie edge, and sometimes put a piece of clear tape on it.
