How do I view the current clock spped of a 980Ti?

Literally any GPU monitoring program that has been out for the last decade.
MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision X, Asus GPUTweak, GPU-Z, etc.

135Mhz is the standard 2D clock.

Precision X, MSI Afterburner, etc can all show your current clock speeds.

I tried MSI Afterburner. and it keeps showing it spike to ~1350, which doesn't seem right. GPU-Z shows 925. thanks for the tip.

It looks like Nvidia hasn't fixed their drivers for clock rates on high refresh rate monitors yet.

Sitting idle at desktop?

Okay that's common.

Above 120Hz, it appears to still require a driver fix to address.
This used to be a problem on GTX580 era cards (or older) when 120Hz was the new hotness (Catleap 2B era).

Yup. I just lowered it to 120 Hz and it goes down to 135 MHz.
