HI
I am trying to flash my SDD and these are the first 2 steps:

1. Download and extract the new firmware to an bootable USB stick.

2. Boot from that USB and go to the path where your firmware files locate.
Keyin the file name which is correspondent with the capacity of your target SSD
and press enter to run.

I am having a blonde moment and cannot recall how to create a boot disk to take me to CMD so that I can do this.
I am on Vista 64 right.
Any help is appreciated.

You may not have to, my last three montherboards I have had came with an option to boot into a special BIOS flash tool. All you need to do is provide it the binary file on a floppy, USB or CD. Pause your boot menu and see if you have something similar.

Otherwise there are a couple utilities to make bootable USB drives. Not sure you can do it without a utility to make one.

May help to tell us what SSD you have. Most have a boot disk or CD to work off of

It is a Gskill Falcon 64GB.
I recall having such Bios features before but I dont remember that in my eVGA one.
