HOT? Sea Barracuda 7200.10 500GB Hard Drive - $119 + new GCO dc No Rebate/Not Refurb

Not hot. I bought this drive 3 months ago from Newegg for $119.99. I have seen it for about $105-110 since.
 
ahh, damn. Weird for some reason the HDs I was seeing lately @ 500GB were around $150...

Perhaps it was the 750GB drives. Oops =(
 
Is the Maxtor basics SATA II 500 gb a rebadged 7200.10? Just wondering since its $99 at Fry's B&M.
 
I'm getting this drive in this week. Should have my system together by Monday so I'll post my opinions on it soon. I'm pretty pumped about it. Had a friend who really did a lot of research for me as to what to get and he said the speeds on this were as good (and sometimes better) than the Raptor drives.

I currently have this in my system. Very fast, very quiet, and keeps cool with a 120mm fan blowing directly on it. Overall solid drive, very pleased.
