Are the free Assassins Creed only on Newegg? Or on Amazon too? (didn't see any mention on Amazon).
 
ARGH, TOO tempting... I really wanted to wait for my next system build to buy anymore SSDs since I dont have Sata 6Gb/s on my X58 :(.
 
Remember , these drives are smoking fast! Not a budget ssd, and they have a extended warranty!

You still greatly notice improvement in random/access/seek time that this SSD is known for.
Ya, you won't max out the writes or reads but the 'feel' factor and load-time will be improved over the older-gen SSD.

I am in your same boat... 3 x58 systems, still faster than my G2.

The onboard 6Gb/s on x58 sucks anyway... to get benefit of the SSD you need a new mobo or a controller card, for some of my setups I got an Areca card... now we're talking FAST :D
