Hot, hot, hot! What to do?

Had a problem. Windows borked.

Fixed it with fixboot.

BIOS reports:

Old tech P4 CPU (known to be hot). Applied fresh ceramique thermal paste.

Hasn't crashed thus far though.

So... what do I do? Seems like there's no other way except to deal with this. :eek:
 
Nothing you can do really aside from replacing the heatsink or rechecking your thermal paste application and heatsink mounting to make sure they are both done properly.

oh look, push pins! double check that the push pins are securely in place, make sure the fans are blowing air in the right direction, and blow the dust out of the cpu.
