Hot? 47" 1080p LCD 950 Shipped

Yea Olevia parent company filed for bankruptcy, that means that no warranties will be honored anymore. Olevia will likely be spun off into its own company, but if you buy an Olevia your up shit creek without a paddle if anything goes wrong.

Still worth considering... I have an Olevia and it works fine.

Sure, it's no $2300 TV.... but it's a $1600 TV.... for $950.

Definitely. Also many credit cards offer additional purchase protection warranties, which may help ease someone's mind about this. If I didn't have to move around so much I'd jump all over this.

I know they offer them for just about everything else.

...and if u can get one, this becomes a pretty nice deal. I'd jump on it too except I have way too many LCDs in my house as it is.

i went with the 247t model before i saw this deal this week. kinda salty, but we'll see how the 247t is.
