I've just added a wireless network to my home network. I have a DL-604 router and I have the DL-624 wireless plugged into the DL-604 lan port. I changed the IP of the DL-624 to 192.168.1.1 and left the DL-604 @192.168.0.1 The problem I'm having is getting port forward to work on the wireless router thru to the DL-604. Unable to see computers hook up to the DL-604.

You're double NAT'ing. You should flip the second router into being just an access point. You want them both on the same IP range..outside router something like 192.168.0.1 and the second unit something in the same range, but outside the DHCP pool. Something like 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.0.245.

Uplink them using a LAN port on each..you will not use the WAN/Internet port of the second unit.

Disable DHCP on the second unit also.

Now you've basically ghetto'd it into an access point.

Or...if the 624 has better performance than the 604..toss the 604 and just use the 624 for everything. Not sure if any performance diff..wasn't into DLink units back then with those older models.
