Rebate makes only so-so...especially since so many seem to think TD is unreliable...then again, I'ms till waiting on an 18.00 rebate from newegg...pm went unanswered

Personally, if I was considering spending that much on a processor, I'd look really hard at selling my current rig or parting out the ram, cpu and mb and buying a Conroe.

you can get a x2 4600 for less than that and very easily overclock to 2.6 (btw i hate people that say 'get this and oc it!', but really its true in this case, i feel sorry for anyone with an 'FX' cpu)
