HL2 Tweaking Help

hello, when doom3 came out, you were able to edit your config to change the memory usage or something like that depending how much memory you have, the commands looked like this

seta image_useCache "1"
seta image_cacheMegs "256"
seta image_cacheMinK "20480"

is there something similar like this with HL2?

-P4 3.0C
-1gb DDR PC3200 RAM
-9800 Pro

I havent seen anything as of yet. The only thing you can really do is go through the console commands and see if there is anything in thier that suits your needs. As far as tweaking the actual game itself Doom3 has to be the king for that IMO.
