Hitler Is Pissed About Parodies

The amusing part is that thanks to all of these parodies, I now have Downfall on my Amazon Wish List for future purchase.

Finally here!

Good job, lots of laughs. I hope other versions emerge too... on Vimeo ie.

Cool, but these things may have run their course a bit, I just didn't laugh as much this time as all the others.

Hitler was playing the part of the head of the RIAA/MPAA operations.

Stallman = EFF.

EFF = The Good Guys, and would sue the RIAA/MPAA operations for violating everyones Fair Use rights under copyright law as a class action for tortious interference against the RIAA/MPAA.... ie: using threat of suit and suit to interfere with otherwise lawful actions by the parody-producing people who have the right under law to make things like THIS PARODY :rolleyes::D:cool::p

That's the best thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks for brightening my 'ACTA release day' blues.

ROFLMAO Great find.

"Anyone who has violated a copyright, leave the room." Awesome. :D

This is GREAT. there's a whole series of these things @ vimeo, but this is the best one. These are pretty good too:
No politics here. - Kyle

So uh, how many of you actually saw Der Untergang before the parody clips showed up?

As a Network architect it's hard for me to be pro-drm and anti-piracy. For three reasons;

1. Pragmatism: Piracy keeps me employeed. People want faster internet to download porn and warez(logistically speaking). I make the internet go faster and I get to keep paying my rent.

2. Philosophy : Anyone who understands the OSI model understands that at a certain point every piece of software is just 1's and 0's. After that it's just frequencies over copper and fiber. When Modern Warfare 2 is just a reflection of light does it really belong to anybody?

3. The entertainment industry is doing just fine.
Batman dark night: $1,001,921,825
Modern Warfare 2 : $1 billion in sales
Itunes: $4 billion (2009)

no matter what the entertainment industry will be fine..there will always be a bunch of paranoid people who think they will get caught if they download stuff instead of buying it.it or fans who just care enough about that one move/song/program that they go out and pay for it.

Hitler parodies will live on.

I take comfort in that I can find what I cannot get on Youtube on Nicovideo, and vice versa...

It's not just paranoids. I saw batman and Avatar twice. I paid $120 for Blink182 tickets(dont judge me.). My wife bought settlers 7 and Modern warfare 2(I know, shes a traitor.)

The extent to which piracy affects the industry is grossly overstated.

Disclaimer: I'm passionately anti-DRM.

Devil's Advocate:
So does that mean it's okay for a student to turn in someone else's story as their own, as long as he/she physically wrote it (say by hand) onto another sheet of paper? After all, what is a book but a collection of individual letters written in ink on a page?

The author made a ton of money off this 6 year old movie thanks to these parodies, and now they're yanking them cause they got paid.

Internet meme that "made it rain" for the producer, and now they're shitting on the hand that fed them. Smart move

I saw it before the parody clips started showing up. It's too bad, the parodies just weren't as funny to me after seeing the actual movie.

I think the parodies are ruined by anyone that knows what the actuals are in that segment. I picked up just enough German to feel weird about it the first time i saw a parody, being the Xbox ban video, and it got even worse after seeing the movie.

Ahhh but handing it in changes the argument. Handing it in involves claiming the work as his or her own. Making the copy is the part that's akin to downloading. Would you tell your students that they shouldn't even make copies of other people's work? Or would you tell them just not to hand in those works as their own?

Hitler's Germany didn't win. The economic powerhouse started in West Germany with plenty of Allied assistance.

Alright lets agree Germany started to go down when GM, Ford, GE, and a few other American companies quit supplying Germany with parts for the motors and other machinery they sold to them before America entered the war a couple of years after everyone else was their fighting.

We are not out to get him by the way, but would 'Uncle' please improve his sentence structure so that we won't misinterpret his words.

Uncle's original question is of geopolitical nature, and it is compounded by modern history, 20th century. This is outside the scope of this discussion. As such, please have a nice cup of -

That was AWESOME. I have to say, that is, without a doubt, one of the finest parodies I have ever seen.

It's too bad the folks who are being parodied have no sense of humor.

I thought that was ++++++++ was full of.....;)

Darn... putting in the full name caused it to block out.

Let's just say it was PRONTube then.

Stupid censorbot, ruining the joke.... grumble, grumble, grumble.

Great idea to DMCA these videos, that free advertising was so harmful and must have reduced profits so much.
