Hitachi executives said that all models this year will have 1080 resolution, although by this they refer only to vertical lines of resolution and not necessarily to interlaced or progressive display techniques. Only one plasma model — a 60-inch Reel60 set — will use a 1,920 by 1080p panel this year.
 
Yea I just went to AVSforum too and now I am really confused. Seems like it is claimed to be a few different things.
 
Damn.. Everything on Amazon and New-egg Says this was Full HD 1080p.. But its not??? WTF??

Hitachi's Site even Says it;

Polaroid will stick it to you. (They offer no repair service after the 1 year warranty.. You are supposed to throw it away and buy a new one.. no shit..)

Ditto, and Vizio won't work on your tv, unless you have the original box. Otherwise it'll cost you 300 big ones for them to send you a box and pays the freight charges.

Would this look good playing X-box 360?...
I'm a noob with all this 1080 blah blah blah and my son wants a big screen for his video games.....
