High pitch whine during Stalker Clear sky complete mod

This has happened on different windows installs, different pc's, different video cards. When playing stalker clear sky with the complete mod I get some sort of high pitch whine from my system. I can't pinpoint where it is exactly but it happens during the main menu and pause menu.

Classic case of coil whine occurring only when the video card is generating hundreds of FPS. Coil whine is the result of interplay between two parts of a PC that have coils, usually the PSU and video card, but sometimes the motherboard or some other card such as an audio card will do it.

If you try a different PSU or video card, you may see the problem go away entirely, get worse, or stay the same. Since it's only doing it during extremely high FPS, it's a minor problem; it is not a symptom of anything getting worse or failing.
