Hi. I've been searching for pc parts for the last few months. I want to build a gaming pc for around $1000, but I can't find parts for a reasonable price. I want to use either a 1070, 980ti, 1080 or a 1080ti. I'd like to use an i7 7800.

Your biggest problem right now is finding a graphics card at a reasonable price due to all the miners. What resolution are you going to be playing at?

You aren't going to be using a 1080Ti on a $1000 total build budget. That card alone will set you back ~$700-800, depending on the model.

You don't have the budget to build a rig with those parts.

a good example of what 1000 dollars can get you is the current system in my sig cost 960 dollars.. should give you a decent starting point to adjust to fit the items you want in your budget. But unless you're gaming at 4K or 1600p you might want to watch 1070/1060 prices and see if they ever go back down to msrp.
