A friend of mine who moved back to his countrty sold me his G4 17" notebook for really cheap.. now comes the problem..I'm a PRO PC guy and have no idea how to install new OS on Mac's.. in windows you just boot from CD.. what should i do with Mac OS X?

Is there any nice guide for new Mac users?

many thanks :)

ok, who's going to help me? I just need some nice guide to mac's..

RiDDLeRThC: I tried Pming you, but it says you are on your mobile device?

Interested in selling it to make a quick profit?

Um... It should have Mac OS X already installed on it. If not, I know the first OS cd/dvd is bootable. As for guides, The Missing Manual is a good book and covers a lot of really good stuff.

Out of curiousity, what is your profession?

yay! finally got OS X10.3 on it.. damn this thing looks sweet.. I also found out that it has airport builtin...btw its a 15" PB..lol..

Easy way to find out is do a quick search on ebay for that model. I just searched "powerbook 667" and found several around the $650 or so range.
