Help with desk issue.

My glass desk was attached to a metal piece by glue/whatever and the metal piece screws into the support bar, but the metal piece has come loose from the glass. See the below picture. What super duty strong clear substance can I buy to attach this back?

Clear Gorilla glue (which is rated for glass) or a windshield mirror mount kit.

If you can remove the piece completely do that, clear all of the old adhesive, rough up the glass and metal contact surfaces with some sandpaper, apply 2 part epoxy and let it cure.
