my friends is using XP 32bit, bought and got the iso for windows 7 pro 64-bit, it takes forever at the starting windows screen, and then it hangs at wallpaper w/ cursor after that. Disabled USB and network, and pretty much every non-essential in bios and can't figure out what's not working. At this point we feel like we've tried everything besides a USB install.

Was going to follow one of the various articles on a clean install but it doesn't seven seem possible if this is the step we get stuck at.... thanks
