Need a bit of help finding a replacement board. 3 weeks ago my PC died. Mobo lights are lit but no power at all when the button was pressed. Even the power button on the board didnt do anything.

I removed my PSU today, jumped it, it turned on and every cable had the rated voltage its supposed to have.
So I am fairly certain its the board.

I bought this ASUS back in 2009. I would like to just replace it but it doesn't look like newegg sells any LGA1366 boards anymore. Only 2 available on Tiger Direct and both $530+. Whats my best alternative right now. Trying to keep it under $300.
Thanks.

Are you looking to stay with the 1366 platform then? There might be a few floating in the FS forum here if you don't mind used. If you want new, a 1366 board might be a little hard to track down IMO

Ya I wanted to continue using my i7 920 but is sounds like I'd most likely have to go used. That's a bummer.
Guess I'm stuck replacing the chip and board.
Well I've been out of the processor game for a while now. Guess I have a lot of research do to...
