Here's the problem:
I am supposed to come up with something (hardware, software, whatever) that does the following:
On a public wireless network, on first opening up a browser, i need a disclaimer page or welcome screen that will be clicked away by an "ok" button of some sort and then it lets the user browse the web.
My first guess is a proxy server with the proxy server software running on a windows 2003 machine (has to be; it's a given). The wireless router would have the gateway set to the win 2003 machine, which uses the proxy.
BUT, which proxy software would let me put a custom html banner in?
Does anyone know? There are things like this in airports and stuff, i just don't know what they're using.....
