I am in the market for a new laptop. It's been crazy to keep up with what's out there. so I am looking for the following.

1. can power two monitors
2. has an oled screen ideally 4k
3. has dual thunderbolt with display output capability.
4. has dual hard drives.
5. Ram that can be upgraded but minimum 32gb
6. must have a 10key numpad and backlight keyboard.

I was eyeing the Asus pro duo zenbook but I am open to other options.

thanks.

No, Framework. The Framework 16 has six modular ports that can be used for all kinds of different stuff. You need one for charging but if you needed to you could use for something else it in battery mode.

It has an number of keyboard options including things like RGB, even with the 10-key. The only requirement it stops short of is the display, but they're supposed to be very accurate and very bright.

oh ha ha damn the framework 16 looks great but my worry is that the gpu will only power one output with its graphics and the the expansion hdmi or display port will use cpu rather than the gpu.

They have specs, it appears to support up to four external displays depending on the resolution and frame-rate.

yeah but reading the reviews and reddit I may pass on it.

so back to large ram or able to upgrade, thunderbolt with dp, and able to connect dual displays

Okay narrow it down to the Asus ProArt Studiobook Pro. Thing now is Ryzen 9 or Intel Core I9 Thoughts anyone?

I have had two versions of the Framework 13 now. The 11th Gen intel, and now the AMD 7000's series. I was extremely pleased with both. I don't use my laptop for gaming so I just wanted thin, light, and user serviceable.
