Help me find $500 laptop for my Nephew

My brother is getting his oldest a laptop for Christmas (or shortly after if necessary). It's for web surfing, schoolwork, watching movies, and limited gaming (older games). He mainly games on his Xbox 360. $500 is the upper limit for the budget. 12"-14" screen minimum.

No netbooks please.

The MSI at office depot has a 3 year warranty vs. the 1 year for the others.

Well, my brother informed me that he went out after work and bought the Toshiba laptop.

I hope my Nephew enjoys it.
