or should I go for Corsair TwinX4000Pro which is damn less pricey than these 3200s?
I'm buildin a new one for dad...Their comp is messin up one by one programs are getting corrupt. and last thing should I install XP Home or XP Pro for them???

If your dad isn't doing anything to push the system, then go for the least expensive of those. Corsair has a great rep and warranty, so stick with them. If you go with the PRO, it's just going to have flashing lights, which are cool, but may not really be worth the extra money. Look at the C2 series for a good value.

the xl stuff is really good. great perofrmance at pc3200 speeds and overclocks to pc4000 with loose latencies

i have 2x512 TwinX4000PT..they do not like 5:4..they'll do 1:1 no probs,but..
i have a 2.4mo that'll do 300fsb at 3:2 with some ocz 3200 copper 2.5,3,3,6 @ 2.75v...primed..these ocz will do anything i tell em to divider wise....oem samsung has been prit good to me..2

got the 4000pt sos i could run at 5:4..they just won't do it,short of a hardmod ..which at this time i'm seriously considering.

i'd get home for them.
Is yer 9700pro built by ati?...
i had some probs with my first one,after a year I RMAed it to ATI,they sent me a new 9700pro (diff ser.#) with a warrantee extended an additional 2yrs.
Less than a year later it failed (screen shmear),and i requested a different gpu,offered to pay any diff for a reliable gpu...they sent me a 9800pro no charge....3yrs warr left..BANG for the bux IMFO

Yes its built by ATI bought it from Best buy like may last yr.
