Windows GDI update for 2k3. My IIS 6.0 server just started getting flaky on me. Only one website - all ISAPI shutdown - only .asp extensions allowed. URLScan 2.5 installed.
No notice in the logs - just an unresponsive IIS 6.0 server. Doesn't appear crashed, and no insane processes - i.e. no hogs. However, it just goes down - and I have to restart IIS 6.0 to get it running again.
Nothing has changed- except for a patch from microsoft a few days ago that was a "GDI update". Anyone else seeing IIS 6.0 flakyness in the last 2 days?
I thought it might be a DOS or something - but wouldn't a syn attack shut down all my interfaces? Or just the interface in question? What kind of logs would I look for to see some kind of attack? I have Scan Alert which scans my server and reports 0 vulnerabilities. So - at least I have taken care of some of the obvious attacks.
anyone have thoughts for debugging or unravelling this issue?
Thanks
