Delving into VR with a Oculus Rift + Touch. I'm looking to upgrade my current setup to an Intel i7-7700k.

I don't OC at all. It will get my current video card (AMD R9 390)

I think I whittled it down to 4 motherboards:

ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI/AC

GIGABYTE GA-Z270-Gaming K3 (rev. 1.0)

ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2

MSI Arsenal Gaming Intel (Z270 TOMAHAWK)

I'm trying to keep the price under $150, so any other suggestions would be appreciated.

They are all sexy! Just throw a poke E ball at them and see which one you catch first! lol

I've been eyeing the TUF Z270 Mark 2 board for all the USB ports on the back. I need a minimum of 5 on the back, more is gravy. Plus it looks like one can 3D print a m.2 40mm fan holder that sits above the bottom m.2 slot.

I've yet to have a problem with an MSI or Gigabyte mobo. (ok my old ASROCK had coil wine after 6 years and could never keep the time even with a good battery but it always ran.,,, does that count?)

I currently have the MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard and it kills it but is above your target price.

I would go with the Gigabyte from your list. Seems to be the most solid choice.
