I have a Sandisk Red-256meg digital audio player. I want to get rid of the earbuds that came with it & go with a set of headphones. I have a set of Yamaha head phones & when I hook these up, the volume is real low. I'm 50 plus years of age & I have some hearing loss so this is why I need the headphones to reach a somewhat normal level. The original earbuds do fine as I usually run them at about 75-80% volume. But they drive me nuts as I can't stand anything inside my ear canal, so hence I'm looking for a replacement. The only time I use this player is when I'm out doing yard work or running on my treadmill so I don't want to spend a fortune. Anybody have any suggestions?
