HD Graphics driver: Use the one from ASUS or Intel?

Does it matter which I use?

I ask because for the Z97I ASUS currently provide

Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver V10.18.10.3920 (updated 2014/10/14)

while Intel's own website provides

15.36.7.64.3960 (10.18.10.3960)

Not sure why Intel has two numbers (one of which looks to be 5 versions newer!) but does it matter if I don't stick with my vendor's driver?

Use the one from intel's website. It works fine provided u have select the corrected gpu driver.I have myself used. Asus does't update the newer drivers on their website.

Nope, but, try the ones off the Intel site first, if you experience any issues then fallback to the ones from ASUS.

They are basically the same, with intel's being newer.
