Bing bing we have someone with actual learning ability. The medium and the message have become the same company and nobody cares. So please turn on basic cable TV and start changing channels. There's your internet future according to Comcast/Warner/NBC and the Senator From Sony. Oops I mean Orrin Hatch.HBO is owned by Time Warner which will be merging with Comcast which means Comcast will own HBO. I'm not sure what that will do for this whole thing. I'm sure Comcast will find some pound me in the ass way of making the whole thing an unusable ripoff.
Looks like CBS is joining in on this model now ... $6/mo to access their catalog ... I'd get HBO just for Bill Maher and John Olivers Sunday show..those shows and the daily show is where my generation gets its news from.
A positive step, although I will have to see the details before I get to excited.
Why do so many people expect it to cost less then it would be to add HBO to your cable service? Especially if it including streaming of HBOs back catalog?
