So, 102% of the NTSC colour space and W-LED means that both models are wide gamut colour? Thanks for this info - It's not on the hazro website news page (the link you gave me).
Any chance you'll tell us when the pricing for those 27" models is going to be unveiled?
Just wondering if you'll have an option, or plan to have an option to list prices in USD or CAD on your web site, I notice alot of times I see prices in the UK are almost equivalent to the USD prices.
Pricing on the 27" to be unveiled towards the end of this month
Im not sure if this has been covered but is the new 24" hazro off the table now or is it still possible for release? i would love a 30 or 27" but i think i really want to go 24" eyefinity.
A tentative price has been announced just today by Mr Hazro for the 27" CCFL model on the forum at overclockers.co.uk (who are the only reseller for UK residents) :
"we are looking at a price of £500~£550 ish [inc. VAT] for the first batch which will be made available just before xmas. Sincere apologies for the delay - we're hoping for a definite price this week with pics going live tomorrow."
£550 minus 17.5% UK VAT (VAT=Value added tax) = 750 CAD or 730 USD before any Canadian/US taxes + shipping. For now, overclockers will only be selling the CCFL model.

I'm thinking it will be around the same for each.
... thought we'd have some pricing info by this time now.
Is there a chance that the test model he had for the review did not have the RTC activated? .
IMHO no USB is quite a risky bet
The sample sent to TFTCentral was a pre-launch model: we will make minor aesthetic changes but the panel + spec is as is.
hazro when will you offer 27 in EU beside UK?
the price just seems crazy low, enough to make me suspect something is fishy. Still the customer reviews on OCUK are all OK so that's something.
Hazro,
1. Are the back-lighting LEDs edge lit or will they be full coverage LEDs?
2. How much would it add to the cost to incorporate a scaler?
3. How much would it add to the cost to incorporate additional inputs?
4. What type of Display Port is being incorporated (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3)?
I absolutely want a glossy IPS panel, no exceptions... It would be nice to have a few more inputs and a built in scaler to run a PC, Xbox and/or PS3....If there is no way to incorporate a scaler or additional inputs, how would one run an Xbox or PS3 with this display...?
Hi Josh,
1. The panels are fully LED backlit - i.e. coverage over entire viewing space.
2. Please read below
3. Please read below
4. Not sure: I have to check this and post back.
We have a 24" IPS 16:10 LED Backlight monitor which ft. HDMI/DVI/VGA/Component/SPDIF/Speaker Out. However, its on hold for atleast another month.
Incorporating a scaler isn't a problem and we have multi output controllers that can easily be accommodated into our enclosures. The issue is that the more inputs added, the more problems we're likely to encounter. We simply don't have the resources to check, inspect and ensure compatibility with all peripherals and devices. That's why we've delayed the HZ27Wa which ft. a single DP connector. We understand most consumers would end up using converters [e.g. DP>DVi or DP>HDMI] to connect this monitor. When we tested converters, some worked: some didn't. Therefore, a decision was made to re-schedule the launch until we resolved this issue.
Currently, we're playing it safe by putting products on the market with single outputs. The less outputs, the less problems we'll encounter in the field. Any questions, please post and I will endeavor to get back asap.
