I have the system in my signature that I'm currently building. I have my 7800X stable at 5.0 GHz, mesh OC at 3.0 GHz, and ram running at 3600 MHz. I have 32GB (8x4GB) Corsair Dominator DDR4 4000 C19 memeory. Looks like the X299 Strix officially supports 8 DIMMS at 3600 MHz but has OC options up to about 4233.

I have my RAM set to their rated timing, VCCAIO and System Agent voltage at 1.25v. RAM runs great at 3600 MHz. It boots fine but is a little unstable at 3800 MHz, and if I run it at 4000 MHz it bricks the system and I have to pull the CMOS battery.

What other settings should I tweak to get that RAM running stable at 4000?
