Walked in here thinking this was a stealth Retro Studio thread.
Well, I constantly play PC Engine Super CDrom (TurboGrafx-CD) games on my computer.
Lords of Thunder is the game I play, maybe once a month. (I live for scrolling shooters)

CD audio in 1993 with a sick Metal soundtrack. This game does not age.
Hooking up the real system to my HDTV is a no no. RF switch, upscaled to 1080p? Oh God, no.
I'll take Magic Engine and 2X Sai filtering, instead. (Plus the Turbopad's don't last very long. Better not use it at this point, since its near impossible to find a replacement)
I always liked Gates of Thunder more. Also liked it's music moreI really don't understand how Lords was supposed to be the sequal. Two different worlds.
I've got a Sega Saturn begging to be played with, however, not sure how much trouble it would be to get the composite cables to work with my LCD monitors ports or if it'd even be worth the trouble.
pointless. go retro with your smartphone or tabletWith all the talk of next gen consoles which is all well and good but how many of you have done back to an NES or SNES?

I'm always in a Retro gaming mood. Right beside my computer, I have my 27" CRT to play all my old consles (SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS2, Dreamcast, and the old Xbox).
Plus I have a VGA to S-video converter connecting my pc to my tv for gaming on Mame.![]()
I was actually thinking of getting an old CRT for just this purpose.
You can actually get them at goodwill and such for under $10.
back when I had friends 8 player saturn bomber man was never off the table.

also passed Mega Man 2 last weekend and kick some Dr. Robotnik's mean bean machine.
I had bomber man on the original game boy, that sure was incredibly frustrating.
Also back when you HAD friends? What the hell does that mean. Are you implying you don't have friends anymore?![]()
Is this a sequel to the ThuderForce series of games?
I LOVED those.
That is one thing I hate about console gaming today, there are just no games I know of that took games like these to the next level and nailed it.
Yep exactly what I'm implying. Moved to new city.
Saturn bomberman is so badass and I have no clue why all the newer ones after it suck so bad. I frequently had more than 4 people at my house and most multiplayer games like Mario Kart max at 4 players....but bomberman could go up to 10, though I normally played with 8. No game since can handle 8 players offline.
