Has anyone used the software that comes with this? (Fingerprint Scanner)

Now I realize that these can be fooled, I'm not really looking for a super-secure system here. Its more for a fun/neat/geek aspect. So has anyone used it that can report on the software, what its like, yada yada? Is there other software (freeware) out there that I could use with this type of thing? I was mostly thinking of using it for windows login and screensaver password.

Yea, don't want to burn the $100, but the concept of sticking my thumb on a pad to unlock my computer is hard to ignore . It seems that noone has really used it though. This is my second post in some time.
