Has anyone else bought a Playbook?

I just bought a BlackBerry playbook as a gift for my mother (finally) got it for $199 up here in Canada and will receive it at the end of the month... I'm curious of peoples opinions on it, has anyone had any problems with it?
 
I'm curious too. Is the BB PB worth the $200? It's not Android or iOS, so will it stand completely alone with no further support? Did RIM follow through on making it run Android?

Why? I have zero regrets in buying my iPad 2. But that doesn't mean that I won't use an Android tablet, as there are many uses for such a device, IMO. Frankly, at home, I'd like a 7-inch tablet in every room, especially if it comes cheap.
 
apparently the a big update for February (17th?) is planed which will add the android market, integrated email, calendar and contact apps, a new video store..etc

I hope they pull through.
